The power giant is set to begin commercial operations of Unit-3 (660 MW) at its Barh Super Thermal Power Project in Bihar from July 1. This unit is part of the 3,300 MW Stage-I project. Other units across both Stage-I and Stage-II are already functional.
UltraTech has commenced operations of a second grinding mill at its Maihar plant in Madhya Pradesh. The unit adds 1.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) capacity, boosting UltraTech’s domestic grey cement production to 186.86 mtpa and total global capacity to 192.26 mtpa.

The company has bagged Rs 159 crore worth of contracts from Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd. under the PM-KUSUM Component C2 scheme. The contracts involve setting up grid-connected solar power plants to electrify rural regions.
IRFC has closed its trading window from July 1, ahead of its Q1 FY26 financial results. The window will reopen 48 hours after the board meeting, as per regulatory norms.
