US Dominates Forbes Billionaires List 2025, India Holds 3rd Spot With 205 Billionaires
April 2, 2025 | The United States continues its reign as the billionaire capital of the world, topping the Forbes Billionaires List 2025 with a record 902 billionaires, up from 813 last year. Collectively, American billionaires now hold a staggering $6.8 trillion in wealth.

India has retained its third spot, increasing its tally to 205 billionaires, while China remains second with 450 billionaires worth a combined $1.7 trillion.
Driven by tech booms, market gains, and rapid digital expansion, the global billionaire count has now crossed 3,000 for the first time. Their combined wealth stands at $16.1 trillion, with more than half the list dominated by just three countries — USA, China, and India.

India’s rise to third place is a reflection of its entrepreneurial resilience despite global slowdowns, with new billionaires emerging from startups, pharmaceuticals, and infrastructure.
