
Volkswagen Launches All-New Tiguan R-Line in India at ₹48.99 Lakh: A Bold Leap in Premium Mobility

Volkswagen India has officially unveiled the all-new Tiguan R-Line, a feature-rich and dynamic upgrade to its flagship SUV line-up. Priced at an introductory ₹48.99 lakh, the premium SUV will be available across dealerships starting April 23, 2025.
Crafted on the advanced MQB EVO platform, the third-generation Tiguan R-Line is built for performance, style, and comfort, showcasing Volkswagen’s evolving commitment to modern mobility for Indian roads.
“The all-new Tiguan R-Line is bold, dynamic, and engineered to thrill. It represents the future of premium mobility from Volkswagen,” said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen India.
The Tiguan R-Line is powered by a 2.0L TSI EVO engine producing 204 PS and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive. With Dynamic Chassis Control Pro and Vehicle Dynamics Manager, it ensures a seamless and agile performance across terrains.
On the safety front, the SUV offers 21 Level 2 ADAS features, 9 airbags, Hill Start/Descent Control, and TPMS, holding a 5-star EURO NCAP safety rating.
