Zuckerberg Asked to Leave Trump’s Oval Office After He Did This: Report
Washington, D.C. – July 3, 2025 — A new report has stirred controversy in Washington after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was reportedly asked to leave the Oval Office during a sensitive meeting between President Donald Trump and top U.S. military officials, according to NBC News.
Sources quoted in the report claim the tech billionaire “crashed” the closed-door session, which was focused on the development of the Air Force’s next-generation fighter jet platform. The meeting was attended by senior defense personnel who were reportedly “shocked” and “unnerved” by Zuckerberg’s unannounced entry.
One official described the moment as “bizarro world,” highlighting the rare breach of Oval Office protocol. Concerns were raised over the lack of security clearance for Zuckerberg to be present during such a high-level military briefing.
However, a White House official later disputed the narrative, telling the Daily Mail that the incident had been “mischaracterized.”
“Zuckerberg popped in to say hello at the President’s request and then left to wait for his scheduled meeting with POTUS, which was set to begin after the meeting with the pilots,” the official clarified.
The official denied any abrupt ejection or violation of protocol, instead portraying the situation as a simple case of miscommunication over timing.
Mark Zuckerberg has had a complex and evolving relationship with American politics. Once a vocal supporter of liberal and pro-immigration policies, the Meta CEO shifted towards the MAGA fold during Donald Trump’s 2024 re-election campaign.
His attendance at Trump’s 2025 inauguration ceremony, alongside other tech moguls including Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, underscored his pivot toward the Republican establishment.
Notably, Musk — once seen as Trump’s close confidant — has recently had a public falling out with the President.

Zuckerberg’s presence at the White House alongside industry giants like Bezos, Sundar Pichai, and Musk reflects the increasingly visible role of Silicon Valley leaders in policy circles. However, this latest episode underscores the delicate balance between tech access and national security protocol.
While the timing and intent behind Zuckerberg’s entrance remain unclear, the incident has fueled fresh debate over the influence of corporate elites within the inner sanctums of U.S. power.
