Adele Shares Tearful Moment with Celine Dion at Las Vegas Show

A video shared by a fan on X captures Adele performing “When We Were Young” as she approaches Dion, who was seated in a VIP box at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tears streamed down Adele’s face as she and Dion embraced warmly, holding each other in a tender exchange that highlighted their mutual admiration. At one point, Dion lovingly held Adele’s face, kissed her hand, and shared a few words as Adele waved to nearby attendees before returning to the stage.

The emotional moment was reciprocated, as Dion was seen dabbing her eyes after their embrace. She had been joined at the show by her sons, Nelson and Eddy Angelil, who comforted her following the touching interaction with Adele.

This heartfelt exchange is the latest in a series of memorable encounters between the two icons. Back in January 2018, Adele attended Dion’s own performance at the Colosseum, later expressing her admiration in an Instagram post that read, “Queen Celine! What a show, an absolute highlight of my life… Happy New Year lady x.”

Dion also shared her excitement about meeting Adele, writing on Instagram, “Wasn’t able to do all my shows, but was thrilled that Adele came to one of them… I love her so much!!”

Adele’s two-year residency in Las Vegas is set to conclude in November. During a September performance in Munich, she hinted that she may take an extended break from music once the residency wraps up, People reported.
