December 16, 2024: Brad Pitt has firmly rejected any possibility of reuniting with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, on-screen, as their contentious divorce and ongoing legal battle over the French winery Château Miraval show no signs of resolution.
Amid this tension, producer Danny Rossner reportedly floated the idea of casting the estranged former couple in a real-life-inspired film centered on hotelier Emmanuel Martinez’s story. Rossner expressed hope that the duo could “put their differences aside” for the project, which would feature heavy love scenes. However, sources close to Brad Pitt have unequivocally shut down the proposition, branding it a “publicity stunt” Pitt has no interest in pursuing.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, insiders close to Pitt emphasized that the actor, who has been seeking to finalize his divorce since 2016, would never agree to work alongside Jolie. “All the money in the world wouldn’t convince Brad to team up with Angelina for a movie ever again,” the source revealed. While acknowledging that such a project would “definitely spark public interest,” they insisted it was “not anything he would ever consider for a moment.”

Pitt’s sources described the ex-spouses as “bitter enemies” and said, “There is no way Brad would lower himself to be paid any amount of money to talk to Angie on screen. She’s caused him so much heartache, and he doesn’t even want his inner circle to mention her name.”
Pitt and Jolie’s separation has been overshadowed by custody battles involving their six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Several of the children have recently distanced themselves from Pitt by reportedly dropping his last name. Sources close to the actor have expressed his heartbreak over the situation, blaming Jolie for creating a wedge between him and his children.
The rift traces back to the infamous 2016 private jet incident, where Pitt allegedly exhibited violent behavior in the presence of his children. This event prompted Jolie to file for divorce, marking the start of their prolonged legal struggles.
Addressing Rossner’s claims, another insider dismissed the reunion talks as baseless, stating, “There was never any real offer.” Rossner, however, previously suggested in an interview with The New York Post that Pitt commands $20 to $25 million per movie, while Jolie earns $15 million. Despite teasing heavy love scenes for the pair, insiders confirm there is no reality to this proposal.
While Rossner’s idea may have intrigued fans, those close to Pitt insist that a professional reunion between the former couple is out of the question, given the lingering animosity.
