February 8, 2025: Singer Lucky Ali, celebrated for his unique voice and evergreen hits, has been in the spotlight recently for reasons beyond his music. During the 18th Kathakar International Storyteller Festival at Delhi’s Sunder Nursery, the 66-year-old artist hinted at his desire for a fourth marriage. When asked about his dreams, Ali candidly shared, “Dream hai ki main shaadi karunga phir se” (I dream of getting married again).

This revelation comes against the backdrop of three previous marriages, all of which ended in divorce. Ali’s journey in relationships has been as eventful as his musical career:

- First Marriage: In 1996, Ali married Australian Meghan Jane McCleary, whom he met during the making of his album Suno. Meghan embraced Islam, and the couple had two children, Ta’awwuz and Tasmiyah, before parting ways.
- Second Marriage: In 2000, Ali tied the knot with Anahita, a Persian woman who converted to Islam and adopted the name Inaya. They had two children, Sara and Raiyan, but eventually separated.
- Third Marriage: In 2010, Ali married British model Kate Elizabeth Hallam, who was 25 years younger than him. The couple welcomed a son in 2011, and Kate, like Ali’s previous wives, embraced Islam, adopting the name Aeisha Ali. They divorced in 2017.
At the festival, Ali also reminisced about his iconic contribution to Bollywood, particularly the chartbuster “Ek Pal Ka Jeena” from the Hrithik Roshan-starrer Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. Sharing a humorous anecdote, he recalled questioning the lyrics “Honthon pe pyaas hai, milne ki aas hai” during the recording and jokingly telling Hrithik, “People would laugh if you sing ‘aas hai’ on screen.”
