Madhur Bhandarkar set to bring ‘untold stories’ of ‘Wives of Bollywood’

Mumbai, October 17, 2024: National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is ready to delve into the glitzy and often controversial world of Bollywood once again with his upcoming film, Wives of Bollywood. Known for his socially impactful films like Chandni Bar, Page 3, Fashion, and India Lockdown, Bhandarkar’s new project promises to shed light on the luxurious yet secretive lives of Bollywood star wives, touching on themes of scandal, gossip, power, and opulence.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his Instagram, sharing that Wives of Bollywood will be produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment and Pranav Jain’s PJ Motion Pictures, with production set to begin early next year.

“Madhur Bhandarkar is known for creating socially relevant cinema, and this time, the focus shifts to the star wives of Bollywood. The film promises to be as explosive as it is glamorous,” Adarsh posted.

Bhandarkar, expressing his excitement for the project, said, “There is a lot of speculation around the lives of Bollywood star wives. The aim is to bring these untold stories, inspired by real incidents, to the big screen.”

Producer Pranav Jain added, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Madhur sir once again after the success of India Lockdown.
