Sean Diddy’ Combs' Ex-GF Gina Huynh Pleads To Grant Him Bail
In a stunning reversal, Gina Huynh—a key witness who vanished before the trial—has submitted a letter to the court arguing that Sean “Diddy” Combs is no longer a danger to the community.
August 4, 2025: In a surprising turn of events just weeks before his sentencing, a key witness in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ criminal case has submitted a letter to the court defending him. Gina Huynh, a former girlfriend of Combs and a witness referred to as “Victim-3” during the trial, had previously vanished after being subpoenaed to testify.
In the letter, which was filed by Combs’ defense team, Huynh publicly identified herself and urged the judge to grant the rapper bail. Her statement paints a very different picture of Combs’ behavior than what was presented by other witnesses during the trial.
“I am writing because I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community,” Huynh wrote. She described their complicated relationship but insisted that by the time it ended, Combs “embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behaviour.”
This dramatic shift comes after Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted of more severe charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. His sentencing is scheduled for October 3.
