Washington [US], October 25, 2025: Actor and singer Selena Gomez has been a vocal advocate for mental health, and she recently shared that she feels her journey is “just starting.” In an interview with E! News, Gomez emphasized her commitment to helping those struggling with mental health issues through her Rare Impact Fund foundation, stating that she’s in the early phases of realizing her ambitious goals.

During the Rare Impact Fund Benefit on October 24, Selena outlined her vision, saying, “My dream is to have places where people who are thinking bad thoughts… have the resources.” She acknowledged the challenges but remained optimistic, expressing, “So, I have big goals, big dreams, and I’m just starting, and it feels like a good start.”

Known for her candidness about her own struggles, including her experiences with bipolar disorder and lupus, Gomez shared how crucial a supportive network is, explaining, “Sometimes you just need someone to tell you, ‘I feel you’ or ‘Me too.'” She believes this connection is essential for fostering healing.

Reflecting on her personal wellness journey, the 32-year-old also highlighted her growth, stating, “I’ve learned so much about the complexities of being a woman… from my mental health to physically being OK.” She stressed that life isn’t just a “highlight reel,” encouraging a more realistic understanding of its challenges and intricacies.
