‘Chandu Champion’ Kartik Aaryan Unveils First Poster Ahead of Release

Kartik Aaryan has set the stage for what he describes as the most challenging role of his career with the release of the first poster for ‘Chandu Champion’ on Wednesday.

Taking to Instagram, Kartik excitedly shared the poster, stating, “Champion Aa Raha Hai…Super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career #ChanduChampion. #14thjune @kabirkhankk #SajidNadiadwala.”

The poster introduces Kartik in a striking new look, depicting him as a wrestler clad in a traditional ‘langot’ and covered in mud, symbolizing intense determination. This new avatar has quickly captured the attention of fans and celebrities alike, sparking a wave of enthusiastic comments. Notable reactions include Sobhita’s simple “WOW” and Bhumi Pednekar’s “Woahhhhhh,” alongside numerous fans expressing their anticipation and admiration for Kartik’s transformation.

The buzz began even before the poster’s release, with Kartik posting a humorous video featuring his dog Katori, who playfully disrupted his initial promotional plans by tearing up a version of the film’s poster. This playful mishap was shared on Instagram with fans, highlighting Kartik’s light-hearted approach to the upcoming promotional campaign.

Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Chandu Champion’ draws inspiration from the real-life story of a sportsman whose resilience and determination defy the odds. To embody Chandu authentically, Kartik underwent a significant physical transformation and dedicated 14 months to mastering the Marathi dialect with the help of a language coach.

The film is scheduled for release on June 14, 2024, strategically timed to coincide with Eid-al-Adha on June 16, promising a festive premiere for Kartik’s fans.
