On the occasion of his birth anniversary, veteran actor Dharmendra took a trip down memory lane on Thursday and shared a priceless old photo with Raj Kapoor. Dharmendra posted a photo to Instagram with the message, “Happy Birthday, Raj Sahab! We miss you! I will always remember you with the utmost love and respect.”
Dharmendra and Raj Kapoor were seen shaking hands and conversing in the black-and-white photo. Both of them wore elegant suits. Raj Kapoor had an amazing career. He was born in Peshawar to actor Prithviraj Kapoor and actress Ramsarni Mehra. Among the numerous honours he received were three National Film Awards and eleven Filmfare Awards in India. The ‘Showman of Indian cinema’ is how people refer to him.He acted in several films, including “Shree420,” “Aag,” “Chori Chori,” “Anari,” “Sangam,” “Mera Naam Joker,” and numerous others.
Speaking of Dharmendra, the seasoned actor recently celebrated turning 88 years old.
His next appearance will be in the yet-to-be-titled romantic drama film, which co-stars Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor. In addition, he has “Ekkis,” the next film directed by Sriram Raghavan, which also stars Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. The movie’s premiere date is January 10, 2025.
