Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh lit up Birmingham with his Dil-Luminati Concert, delighting fans both in the venue and online.

On Monday, Diljit shared stunning pictures and a reel from the event on Instagram, captioning the post, “BIRMINGHAM Next Glasgow DIL-Luminati Tour Year 24.” The shared moments show Diljit interacting with the audience and delivering an electrifying performance, leaving his fans buzzing with excitement.

One of the major highlights of the concert was a surprise appearance by Ed Sheeran, creating a memorable collaboration between the two musical powerhouses.

In a lively reel shared on Instagram, Diljit, dressed in an all-white outfit, joyfully announced Ed’s arrival with the exclamation, “Ed Sheeran aa gaya oye!” The two shared the stage for a mashup of Ed’s iconic hit ‘Shape of You’ and Diljit’s track ‘Naina’ from the Bollywood film ‘Crew’. Their chemistry was palpable as they performed together, concluding with a heartfelt embrace that quickly became a viral sensation.

This visit followed Ed Sheeran’s attendance at Diljit’s Mumbai concert six months earlier, where the two had bonded over music. The Birmingham collaboration added to the magic of Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour, which has already earned international praise.

Diljit is now gearing up for the Indian leg of his tour, set to kick off on October 26 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. The tour will then travel to several Indian cities, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati. Diljit expressed his excitement about bringing the tour to India, calling it a “dream come true.” He promised fans an unforgettable night, saying, “Punjabi ghar aa gaye oye! We’re going to make history together.”

On the acting front, Diljit is set to appear in the highly anticipated sequel ‘Border 2,’ alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The film, which is expected to begin shooting in November, will reportedly be set against the backdrop of the Battle of Longewala.
