Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is set to achieve another milestone in his illustrious music career by appearing as a guest on ‘The Tonight Show’ starring Jimmy Fallon. Known for his significant contributions to promoting Punjabi music on the global stage, Diljit shared the exciting news with his fans on Instagram.

On Wednesday, Diljit posted several pictures on his Instagram account, announcing his upcoming appearance. He captioned the photos with, “PANJABI AAGYE OYEE. This Week’s Guest,” expressing his pride and excitement for this achievement.

Diljit Dosanjh has a history of breaking records and making significant strides in the music industry. In April, he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium during his Dil-Luminati tour. He shared moments from this historic sold-out concert on Instagram, proudly stating, “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN. BC PLACE STADIUM SOLD OUT. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR.”

In addition to his music career, Diljit has been active in the film industry. He recently starred in Imtiaz Ali’s musical biopic ‘Amar Singh Chamkila,’ alongside Parineeti Chopra. The film, which delves into the life and struggles of the legendary Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila, has received positive reviews from audiences. The cast also includes Anjum Batra, Nisha Bano, Apinderdeep Singh, Rahul Mittra, Udaybir Sandhu, Sahiba Bali, Tushar Dutt, Robbie Johal, Pavneet Singh, and Anuraag Arora in significant roles. ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ was released on Netflix on April 12, 2024.
