Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India]: The Eastern Naval Command celebrated the Valedictory Function of the Hindi Fortnight at the Samudrika Auditorium on Friday.

Rear Admiral Manish Sharma NM, Chief Staff Officer (Operations) of Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

During this momentous occasion, Rear Admiral Manish Sharma released the 29th edition of the Annual Hindi Magazine, “Poorvi Vani”. This magazine is a testament to the command’s commitment to promoting the Hindi language and culture.

Furthermore, the Chief Guest presented Rajbhasha Puraskars to various units in recognition of their exceptional efforts in carrying out official work in Hindi across different categories.

The event also included the distribution of prizes to the winners of the Hindi Competitions that took place during the Hindi Fortnight.

Rear Admiral Manish Sharma commended the dedicated personnel of the Command for their steadfast efforts in the implementation of Hindi and encouraged them to continue their excellent work. He stressed the importance of using simple and effective Hindi language in day-to-day official tasks.

The Chief Guest extended his congratulations to the recipients of Rajbhasha Puraskars and all the winners of the various Hindi Competitions. He also expressed his appreciation for the individuals who contributed articles to “Poorvi Vani” and urged all personnel to maximize the use of Hindi in official work, thereby maintaining and accelerating the integration of Hindi in the Command.

The Valedictory Function was a vibrant celebration of Hindi language and culture within ENC, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to promoting linguistic diversity and cultural heritage.
