December 1, 2024: Bobby Deol marked a significant milestone in his career as he celebrated the first anniversary of Animal on Sunday, a film that truly marked his powerful comeback to the big screen. The film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, saw Bobby in the role of the intense antagonist, Abrar.

To commemorate the special occasion, Bobby took to Instagram, sharing never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the movie. Alongside the images, he reflected on how the role and the overwhelming appreciation he received from fans had made Animal a memorable chapter in his career.

Bobby’s portrayal of Abrar, particularly his iconic dance to the song “Jamal Kudu” with a glass on his head, captured the audience’s attention and became one of the standout moments of the film. In his Instagram post, Bobby expressed his gratitude, writing, “Celebrating one year of #animal! Abrar’s journey brought me closer to all of you and gave me more than I could’ve ever imagined–love, blessings, and opportunities. Thank you for making this one so special for me.”

Bobby opened up about his “second innings” in the industry, describing the journey as one filled with struggles and the need for persistence. He shared how being in the acting profession is not easy, but with hard work and self-belief, one can achieve satisfaction and success. “I just feel very blessed. I feel I’m living a dream,” Bobby said. He acknowledged that many actors face challenges, but emphasized that perseverance and positive thinking are key to overcoming obstacles and achieving one’s goals.

Bobby also reflected on the unwavering support from his fans, which has been a constant throughout his career. He expressed deep gratitude for the loyalty his fans have shown not only towards him but also towards his family. “I think hard work turns into luck. You can’t just keep crying about luck being a factor in your life. The harder you work, it will definitely give you something in life,” he added, highlighting the importance of dedication and self-belief.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal marked a major turning point in Bobby Deol’s career, proving that his comeback was not just about returning to the screen but about evolving into a more powerful, nuanced performer.
