‘120 Bahadur’ : Farhan Akhtar Remebers Rezang La Heroes, Pays Tribute To Soldiers

Through his Instagram post, Farhan not only honors the bravery of Major Shaitan Singh and his 120 soldiers but also emphasizes the indomitable spirit of the Ahir community, whose members were instrumental in this heroic defense.

In his post, Farhan wrote, “Their story echoes through time, reminding us of the price of freedom and the strength of unity,” underscoring the timeless relevance of their sacrifice and the profound sense of patriotism that continues to inspire. He also gave special mention to the Ahir community, recognizing their pivotal role in the battle.

The actor-director is bringing this monumental story to the big screen with his upcoming film, 120 Bahadur. The film, set against the backdrop of the Battle of Rezang La, will pay homage to the courage and heroism of the Indian Army soldiers who stood their ground despite overwhelming odds. Farhan himself will portray the role of Major Shaitan Singh, who led his men in one of the most iconic battles of the Indo-China war. Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment, 120 Bahadur is slated for release in 2025.
