Bollywood icon Aamir Khan and Oscar-nominated actress Emily Blunt will both be honored at the festival’s opening night, alongside Egyptian screen legend Mona Zaki, who was previously announced as a recipient of a prestigious award.

In addition to receiving their accolades, both Khan and Blunt will participate in the festival’s highly anticipated ‘In Conversation With’ segment, giving festival-goers an exclusive and intimate look into their illustrious careers and creative processes. His notable works include globally successful films like “Dangal” (2016), “3 Idiots”, “Ghajini”, “Dhoom 3”, “PK”, and “Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India”, the latter of which earned an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film in 2002. Blunt’s recent Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” (2023) marks another milestone in her career. Her upcoming projects include the film “The Smashing Machine”, where she stars alongside Dwayne Johnson, and a major event film being directed by Steven Spielberg. Reflecting on her award, Blunt shared, “I love all that this festival is doing for innovative and emerging talent in the film industry.
