Aamir Khan Film On Youtube Costs More on Apple Devices; Team Issues Apology
While Aamir Khan’s team promised a rental fee of ₹100 for Sitaare Zameen Par, users reported being charged ₹179. The actor’s production house has issued a public apology, assuring that the issue on Apple devices will be resolved soon.
August 1, 2025: Actor Aamir Khan new pay-per-view strategy for his movies has hit a snag that his production company didn’t see coming, and they have apologized. The new program was introduced with a rental fee of ₹100, however some Apple customers said they were charged ₹179 to see his new movie, Sitaare Zameen Par.
Aamir Khan Productions used social media to respond to the complaints from customers. The message said, “We are very sorry.” “We just found out that Apple devices are showing the cost to rent our movie Sitaare Zameen Par as Rs 179.” We are working to fix this problem as quickly as we can. Thanks for being patient and understanding.
Aamir Khan has an unusual plan: he puts his movies on his own YouTube channel for ₹100, which he thinks will get more people to go to the movies. He thinks this would make movies cheaper and easier to find, and it will also provide budding, independent filmmakers a place to show off their work.
The actor also said that his popular TV show, Satyamev Jayate, will be available for free on the site at a later date. Aamir Khan’s movies are no longer going to be made through typical arrangements with big OTT platforms like Netflix and Prime Video. With the rental, you can watch the movie within 48 hours of pushing play.
