The film industry and fans are rallying in prayer for veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, who remains hospitalized at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after being admitted on February 17, 2026.

In a recent update shared on Thursday, February 26, Aamir Khan spoke to the media about his visit to the hospital, noting that while he couldn’t meet the 90-year-old legend personally due to his stay in the ICU, he spent time with the family to offer his support.

Health Status & Medical Procedure

The Diagnosis: Salim Khan was rushed to the hospital after suffering a minor brain hemorrhage triggered by a spike in blood pressure.
The Procedure: Doctors performed a successful DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography), a neuro-interventional procedure, to stabilize his condition.
Current Status: As of February 26, actress Daisy Shah and other family friends have confirmed that the senior Khan is “out of danger” and stable. While he was briefly on ventilator support as a precaution, he is now breathing on his own and showing daily improvement.
