Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ Sparks Online Backlash Over Pay-Per-View OTT Strategy
May 5, 2025: Aamir Khan is all set to make a long-awaited return to the silver screen with Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to his beloved 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film is scheduled to release on June 20, and fans are already buzzing with anticipation.
The first-look poster, unveiled by Aamir himself, shows him in what appears to be a basketball coach’s avatar, echoing his nurturing role as an art teacher in the original film. This time, he shares the screen with 10 debutant actors.
Adding to the excitement, Aamir will star opposite Genelia Deshmukh, making their pairing a fresh on-screen dynamic.
