Aashiqui 3: Kartik Aaryan’s First Look Revealed, Set To Release In Diwali 2025
February 16, 2025: The first look of Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3 has been unveiled, giving fans a glimpse of his character in the much-awaited romantic drama. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is set to hit the theatres in Diwali 2025. In the teaser, Kartik can be seen sporting a massive beard, playing a guitar at a massive concert, reminiscent of the opening scene in Aashiqui 2.
Joining Kartik in the film is South actress Sreeleela, who takes on the role of the new leading lady, putting to rest rumors that Tripti Dimri would be a part of the film. In the teaser, the on-screen couple is seen romancing in the scenic mountains and riding bikes, all set to a slowed version of the iconic song, “Tu Hi Zindagi Hai, Tu Hi Aashiqui Hai,” sung by Vishal Mishra.
T-Series released the first look video on YouTube, creating a wave of excitement among fans of the franchise. The Aashiqui series, which began in 1990 with Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashiqui, starred Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal and became an instant classic. The franchise was revived in 2013 with Aashiqui 2, directed by Mohit Suri, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, which was also a major hit at the box office.
Now, with Anurag Basu at the helm, Aashiqui 3 promises to be an emotional and musical love story that follows in the footsteps of its predecessors. With Pritam composing the music, fans can expect more unforgettable melodies. This will mark the first collaboration between Anurag Basu and Kartik Aaryan.
Fans are eagerly anticipating how this third installment will continue the musical saga of love and heartbreak that Aashiqui is known for.
