During a thrilling Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the makers unveiled a tantalizing teaser showcasing Amitabh’s enigmatic portrayal as the immortal ‘Ashwatthama.’
In the 21-second teaser, Amitabh Bachchan’s presence exuded power as he was seen seated in a cave, immersed in prayer to a Shiva linga, adorned with bandages. A young child’s curious inquiry, “Are you a god? Can you not die? Who are you?” elicits a cryptic response from his character, “Since the Dwapar Yug, I have waited for the Dasavatar, Dronacharya’s son, Ashwatthama.”
Abhishek Bachchan, ever the supportive son, took to social media to share his admiration, dubbing his father as “THE BOSS!!!!” Fans echoed their excitement in the comments, eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’
