Abhishek Bachchan Praises ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Trailer

The recently released trailer of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has garnered significant attention and praise from fans and critics alike. Among the enthusiastic responses is a special review from actor Abhishek Bachchan, who took to Instagram to express his admiration for the film’s trailer. Sharing a poster of the movie, he captioned it with, “MINDBLOWING!!!! #Kalki2898AD.”

The trailer features legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, along with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, and has been trending since its release. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this post-apocalyptic film draws inspiration from Hindu scriptures and is set in the year 2898 AD. The storyline reimagines the Mahabharat from a futuristic perspective, incorporating dystopian elements.

The trailer showcases a stellar cast, including Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, adding to the film’s allure. Prior to the trailer’s release, the makers revealed a poster of Deepika Padukone, depicting her in an intense and captivating pose.

Last month, fans got a glimpse of Amitabh Bachchan’s character through a teaser released during an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The 21-second clip featured Big B in warm earthy tones, seated in a cave and engaged in prayer to a Shiva linga, covered in bandages. A young child questions his character, asking, “Kya tum bhagwan ho, kya tum marr nahi sakte? Tum Bhagwan ho? Kaun ho Tum?” To which he replies, “Dwapar yug se Dash avatar ki pratiksha kar raha hoon main, Dronacharya ka putra Ashwatthama.” (Since the Dwapar Yug, I have waited for the Dasavatar.) ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is set to hit theaters on June 27.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for his role in ‘Housefull 5’, which stars Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Chunky Pandey in key roles.
