Abhishek Kumar Embarks on a Thrilling Journey in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14'
Following his stint on Bigg Boss, fans of Abhishek Kumar are eagerly anticipating his adventurous participation in the upcoming season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, hosted by the renowned Rohit Shetty. In a candid conversation with ANI, Abhishek opened up about the initial trepidation he felt when the show was first proposed to him.
Abhishek shared, “Initially, I wasn’t sure about signing up. I was very scared. I had claustrophobia, couldn’t swim, and had an issue with my hand. But then I spoke to previous participants like Ravi sir and Karan Wahi bhai. They encouraged me, saying, ‘Are you crazy? It’s such a big show. Why refuse? You’ll learn so much and gain experiences that will last a lifetime.'”
Reflecting on his decision-making process, Abhishek added, “I watched previous episodes, discussed it with my family, and realized that not everyone gets this opportunity. Only 12-13 people are chosen each year out of many who aspire to participate. My family and friends boosted my confidence, reminding me that sometimes others see potential in us that we don’t see in ourselves. One night, as I sat with my eyes closed, I envisioned myself taking on this challenge. That’s when I decided to go for it.”
Abhishek also spoke about his rapport with the show’s host, Rohit Shetty. “I share a great bond with Rohit Sir. We had a lot of fun during the shoot. He jokingly appreciated my English and told me something I will always remember: ‘You are leaving this platform transformed, from a boy into a man.’ He noted the significant change in me from Bigg Boss to this show. I’ve learned to stay calm, control my emotions, and channel my energy positively by observing others.”
The 14th season of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, based on the American show ‘Fear Factor’, features a diverse cast including Aditi Sharma, Shilpa Shinde, Krishna Shroff, Shalin Bhanot, Kedar Aashish Mehrotra, and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. This season was filmed in the picturesque landscapes of Romania and is set to premiere on Colors TV from July 27.
Abhishek’s journey from reluctance to embracing the challenges of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ highlights his personal growth and determination, making this season a highly anticipated one for viewers.
