Aditya, Sara, Ali Caught in Urban Heartbreaks in Metro In Dino Teaser: Watch!

May 24, 2025: The first look of Anurag Basu’s much-awaited film Metro In Dino is finally here, and it promises a rich, emotional ride through the highs and lows of urban life and relationships. The makers released a captivating over one-minute video on YouTube on Saturday, giving fans a glimpse into the ensemble-driven narrative.

The teaser opens with the line, “The city has changed, and so have the stories,” setting the tone for a fresh yet familiar exploration of love and heartbreak in a metropolitan backdrop.

A Star-Studded Cast and Interwoven Stories

The film features a powerful ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee. Each character’s journey is hinted at in brief yet evocative clips—from Sara and Aditya’s contrasting lives at a train station to Ali Fazal’s soulful connection with Fatima Sana Shaikh.

We see glimpses of romantic struggles, emotional breakdowns, and self-discovery—hallmarks of Anurag Basu’s signature storytelling. Pankaj Tripathi’s character is shown to be enamored with Konkona’s, while Ali, Aditya, and Sara’s characters wrestle with vulnerability and intensity.

Zamaana Lage: First Song Teaser Out

Adding to the buzz, the makers also dropped a teaser of the film’s first track, “Zamaana Lage”, set to release on May 28. The song marks yet another collaboration between Pritam and Anurag Basu, with vocals by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh. The soundtrack promises to be emotion-heavy and melody-rich, continuing the musical legacy established in Life in a Metro.

Metro In Dino: A Trilogy’s Final Chapter

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu, Metro In Dino is the concluding chapter in Anurag Basu’s trilogy of hyperlinked urban stories, following Life in a Metro and Ludo.

With its ensemble cast, layered storytelling, and Pritam’s music, Metro In Dino aims to reintroduce viewers to life in India’s bustling cities—where love, loss, and longing intersect at every turn.

The film is set to hit theatres on July 4, 2025.
