Aditya-Sara Starrer ‘Metro… In Dino’ Gets New Release Date

Excitement brews among Bollywood fans as the much-anticipated film ‘Metro In Dino,’ starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, announces a fresh release date. Originally set for September, the rom-com will now grace the silver screen on November 29, a revelation made by Aditya himself on his Instagram handle.

Directed by Anurag Basu, the anthology movie features Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan alongside a stellar cast including Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Konkona Sen Sharma in pivotal roles. Initially slated for a March 29 release, the film marks the second collaboration between Aditya and Basu following their work in ‘Ludo.’

‘Metro… In Dino’ draws inspiration from the iconic song ‘In Dino’ from ‘Life in a… Metro’ and promises to deliver poignant narratives of contemporary human relationships. Anurag Basu expressed his enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its freshness and relevance in today’s context. He also praised the contribution of music maestro Pritam, who has added depth and vitality to the film’s characters and storyline.

Renowned for his directorial ventures like ‘Barfi,’ ‘Life In a Metro,’ ‘Ludo,’ and ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ Basu is set to helm ‘Aashiqui 3’ with Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, further solidifying his position as a visionary filmmaker in Bollywood.
