Adrienne Barbeau and Xander Berkeley Join Tyler Savage’s Twisted Thriller ‘Oddities’
May 23, 2025: Veteran actors Adrienne Barbeau and Xander Berkeley have joined the cast of Oddities, the latest horror-thriller from writer-director Tyler Savage. They’ll star alongside Lovie Simone (Greenleaf, Forever) and Lilimar (Inside Out 2, Batwheels) in this dark, genre-bending tale.
An expansion of Savage’s 2023 short film, Oddities follows two self-destructive best friends (Simone and Lilimar) who accidentally commit a murder and seek shelter in a bizarre roadside antique store. There, they meet an older woman (Barbeau) who seems helpful—until events spiral into something far more sinister.

Described as a twisted love letter to cult cinema, Savage says the film channels the inspirations that first drew him to filmmaking.
“Oddities is an irreverent celebration of everything that made me fall in love with movies,” said Savage. “We caused some mayhem in Louisville, and I can’t wait to share what we created.”
Produced by David Broad, Javier Gonzalez, Noah Lang, and Max Neace, the film wrapped principal photography in Kentucky and is eyeing a potential 2026 release. Simone, Lilimar, Jamie Meyer, Lucas Fleisher, and Adrienne Barbeau also serve as executive producers.
Barbeau brings her horror legacy from The Fog and Creepshow, while Berkeley’s credits include The Walking Dead and Apollo 13. The film is currently in sales discussions as anticipation builds for its release.
