Agastya Nanda On Carving His Own Path
Actor Opens Up About Bachchan Legacy And Ikkis Journey
January 6, 2026: Agastya Nanda stepped into acting with The Archies but found wider appreciation with his theatrical debut Ikkis. The film showcased his sincere portrayal of Param Vir Chakra awardee Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and helped the young actor make a stronger impression on audiences.
In a recent IMDb interaction Agastya said he does not feel burdened by the Bachchan legacy. He shared that his surname is Nanda first and his biggest focus is making his father proud. While he deeply admires his actor relatives he believes their journeys are not his to replicate.
Talking about Ikkis Agastya described the shoot as chaotic and unpredictable. The film also marks the debut of Simar Bhatia and the final appearance of veteran actor Dharmendra who played his onscreen father adding emotional weight to the project.
