July 18, 2025: Ahaan Panday Saiyaara Movie – The buzz around Saiyaara, the much-awaited debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is translating into impressive numbers at the box office even before its official release. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has already sold over 3.8 lakh tickets across 7850 shows, raking in an advance booking revenue of ₹9.39 crore. With block seat earnings factored in, the total climbs to a whopping ₹12.49 crore.

If early trends continue, director Mohit Suri could witness one of the strongest openings for a film starring newcomers, with estimates hinting at a ₹20 crore day-one collection—a feat rarely achieved by debut actors.

For comparison, Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par collected ₹10.7 crore on opening day, while Kesari Chapter 2, featuring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ahaan’s cousin Ananya Panday, brought in ₹7.75 crore. The record-breaking trend continues to place Saiyaara in the league of recent box office hits such as Raid 2 (₹19.25 crore) and Jaat (₹9.5 crore).

Yash Raj Films, backing Saiyaara, has gone full throttle on promotions—especially focusing on the film’s chart-topping title track, which features newcomers Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, and currently boasts over 49 million views on YouTube. Interestingly, Ahaan and Aneet have opted out of press rounds, breaking the conventional publicity formula.

With the highest number of shows booked in Maharashtra (170), followed by Uttar Pradesh (164) and New Delhi (133), Saiyaara is poised for a wide nationwide reach.

The film’s long-term success, however, will rest on the newcomers’ performances, especially with competition from holdover films like Superman, Jurassic World Rebirth, and Maalik. Also in the mix are reported CBFC cuts, which could impact the film’s appeal.

Nevertheless, Saiyaara seems well on its way to becoming a box office sensation, and may even surpass Ananya Panday’s Student of the Year 2, which earned ₹12.06 crore on its debut.
