December 10, 2025: The highly anticipated war drama, Border 2, has released the first-look poster of actor Ahan Shetty, revealing him in the intense and battle-ready avatar of an Indian Navy officer. The fierce look has been met with loud applause from Bollywood heavyweights, including co-star Diljit Dosanjh, father Suniel Shetty, and superstar Salman Khan.
The poster shows Ahan, bloodied and determined, in a gripping combat moment, firmly holding a military gun. The makers shared the look with the powerful caption:
“Sarhad ho ya Samandar… Dharti Maa ka har beta ek hi kasam nibhaata hai (Whether it’s a border or the ocean… every son of Mother India upholds the same oath).”
Shetty Family and Bollywood Cheer
The reveal of Ahan’s look struck an emotional chord, especially with his father, Suniel Shetty, who starred in the 1997 original Border. Suniel took to social media to express his pride: “Honour… leaves its mark. And courage looks good on you, son.”
Ahan’s sister, Athiya Shetty, also shared her excitement, commenting, “Just toooooo goood!!!!!!! I’m so excited.”

Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh and produced by J. P. Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, is the sequel to the iconic 1997 blockbuster. The ensemble cast includes Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, and is slated for a theatrical release on 23 January 2026, perfectly timed for the Republic Day weekend.
