Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Car Hit By BEST Bus in Mumbai; No Injuries Reported

The actress wasn’t inside the vehicle during the minor collision near Amitabh Bachchan’s residence in Juhu. No police complaint was filed.

March 27, 2025: Mumbai – A luxury car belonging to Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was involved in a minor accident on Wednesday evening when a BEST (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport) bus rear-ended the vehicle in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Fortunately, no one was injured, and Aishwarya was not inside the car at the time of the incident.

A video of the scene, showing the luxury car with a red BEST bus behind it near Amitabh Bachchan’s residence on Juhu Tara Road, quickly went viral on social media.

According to officials, the incident occurred shortly after the bus left the nearby Juhu Depot. As it approached the bungalow area, it accidentally bumped into the car. While the vehicle appeared to suffer minimal damage, the situation briefly escalated.

An eyewitness stated that a bouncer from a neighboring bungalow came out and slapped the bus driver following the incident. In response, the driver called the police control room. When the police arrived, the supervising staff from the bungalow reportedly apologized, and the bus driver chose not to pursue the matter further.

The bus then continued on its route toward Santacruz suburban station. No official FIR or complaint was lodged, confirmed a BEST spokesperson.

The incident, while minor, stirred public attention due to the high-profile location and the Bachchan family connection.
