Aishwarya Rai Confirms Daughter Aaradhya Has No Social Media Accounts

Speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival, the actress urged the public to beware of fake pages and prioritize real-world connection over online engagement.

December 10, 2025: Superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has issued a clear statement addressing the pervasive online speculation about her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, confirming that the young girl does not maintain any official social media presence.

Speaking candidly on the sidelines of the Red Sea Film Festival, the former Miss World urged the public and fans to be mindful of authenticity in the digital space and avoid engaging with circulating profiles made in Aaradhya’s name.

A Plea to Flag Fake Accounts

Aishwarya clarified that the many accounts and pages using her daughter’s name are not managed by the Bachchan family. She acknowledged that these profiles may stem from a place of affection but stressed that they are not genuine.

“The things that are out there, sometimes people believe that’s hers, no it isn’t. There is some well-wisher out there who’s made it, I guess. Obviously it comes from a place of love for Aaradhya, for my family, for my husband, for me, and you know, thank you for all your love, but that isn’t her, she’s not on social media,” Rai stated.

The actress’s statement follows years of online scrutiny and fake accounts created in Aaradhya’s name, including a recent successful lawsuit filed by the family against the creators of defamatory content.

The Need for a ‘Digital Detox’

Aishwarya also offered a broader reflection on the increasing influence of digital platforms on daily life and mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of setting boundaries.

While recognizing the positive professional uses of social media, she highlighted its potential to consume individuals, leading to a disconnect from reality.

“It’s important to shut out the noise, it’s important to sieve through, it is important to recognise that this is not really the fulcrum of your existence. This cannot be the validation of your truth. And if you find yourself getting lost in that, you need to detox, you need to cut off and get back in touch with your own reality,” she advised.

She concluded her thoughts by underscoring the value of real-world connection, urging people to engage with those physically present rather than constantly looking at their phones.
