Aishwarya Shares Heartwarming Birthday Wish for Paa Amitabh Amid Feud Rumours

October 12, 2024: Late Friday night, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to Instagram to wish her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, a happy 82nd birthday. Sharing a nostalgic picture of Amitabh with her daughter, Aaradhya, Aishwarya captioned the post, “Happy birthday paa-dadaji. God bless always,” followed by her signature use of emojis.

Despite the warm gesture, neither Amitabh’s son, Abhishek Bachchan, nor his daughter, Shweta Bachchan, shared birthday wishes for their father on social media, fuelling ongoing rumours of a rift within the Bachchan family.

Rumours of Family Tension: Speculation about tension between Aishwarya and the Bachchan family gained traction earlier this year, when Aishwarya and Aaradhya arrived separately from the rest of the family at Anant Ambani’s wedding. Additionally, during Aishwarya’s recent Paris Fashion Week appearance and at the IIFA awards, Aaradhya was her only companion, adding to the gossip.

The rumour mill was further fueled when Aishwarya was spotted without her wedding ring at public events. Despite the ongoing chatter, no member of the Bachchan family has addressed these rumours directly.

Professional Front: Both Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan are well-established actors in Bollywood and have collaborated on several successful films, including Guru and Sarkar Raj. The couple married on April 20, 2007, in an intimate ceremony, and welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011.

Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2 directed by Mani Ratnam. While she has not announced her next project, Abhishek is set to appear in the Prime Video film Be Happy. Amitabh Bachchan recently starred in Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth, marking his debut in a full-length Tamil film.
