But then, Ajay started his company and told me, ‘Come work with me.’”

It was during this time that Rohit got his big break as a director with Zameen (2003), an action thriller starring Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, and Bipasha Basu. Rohit credited Ajay for giving him the opportunity to direct, saying, “That break was easy because Ajay was there for me. I didn’t have to struggle to get my first film because that 15 years of hard work had already been there.”
