Ajay Devgn’s ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ Finally Locks Release Date, Set To Hit Theatres In 2025

December 19, 2024: Fans of the rom-com De De Pyaar De have something to look forward to, as the makers have officially announced the release date for the sequel, De De Pyaar De 2. The film, starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and R. Madhavan, will hit theatres on November 14, 2025.

The announcement was made on Instagram, where the team shared the exciting news, including the fact that the sequel will be directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg. The script has been written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain.

The filming for the sequel is taking place in multiple locations, including Punjab, Mumbai, and London, promising a diverse and dynamic backdrop for the story.

The original De De Pyaar De (2019), which was directed by Akiv Ali, became a hit with audiences for its charming and humorous take on the complexities of relationships, particularly an age-gap romance. The film starred Ajay Devgn as Ashish, a 50-year-old divorcee who falls in love with Ayesha (played by Rakul Preet Singh), a woman half his age. The story also involved Tabu as Ashish’s ex-wife, adding layers of tension and drama to the plot.

As fans eagerly await the sequel, it seems the De De Pyaar De franchise is set to deliver more laughs and heartfelt moments.

In addition to De De Pyaar De 2, Ajay Devgn has other exciting projects lined up, including Azaad, a film set in pre-independence India. In Azaad, Devgn will portray a skilled horse rider with a deep bond with his horse, showcasing his versatility as an actor.

With the release of De De Pyaar De 2 over a year away, it looks like Ajay Devgn’s fans will have plenty to enjoy in the meantime!
