Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again’ Release Postponed to Diwali 2024

Fans of the ‘Singham’ franchise will need to wait a bit longer to see the next installment, ‘Singham Again,’ as the makers have postponed its release date. Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to announce that the much-anticipated action-thriller will now hit theaters during Diwali 2024.

In his Instagram post, Devgn shared an official poster featuring the key actors: Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. The poster was captioned, “#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024.”

Fans quickly expressed their excitement in the comments. One user wrote, “Waiting,” while another commented, “And the iconic Cop character is back. Can’t wait.”

The delay was hinted at by Ajay Devgn during the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.’ When asked about the status of ‘Singham Again,’ he explained, “We are not sure because the work on it is still going on. It is not complete. A little bit of shooting is still left to be done. So we are not in a hurry because jaldbaazi mein kaam kharaab ho jaata hai. As soon as we are ready, we’ll decide.”

Initially slated for release on Independence Day, August 15, 2024, ‘Singham Again’ has been rescheduled to avoid clashing with other major releases, including Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2,’ John Abraham and Sharvari’s ‘Vedaa,’ and Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Khel Khel Mein.’

Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Singham Again’ is the third installment of the popular franchise. The original ‘Singham,’ released in 2011, starred Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj, and was followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014. Both films were box office hits, cementing the franchise’s popularity.

With an ensemble cast and high expectations, ‘Singham Again’ is set to continue the legacy of its predecessors. Fans eagerly await its Diwali 2024 release, promising an action-packed cinematic experience.
