Ajith’s Next Film AK64 to Begin Shooting in November—All You Need to Know!

May 17, 2025: After the roaring success of Good Bad Ugly, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar has finally shared key details about his next big project, tentatively titled AK64. In a recent interview with The Indian Express, the actor confirmed that filming will kick off in November 2025, with a tentative release window set for April or May 2026.

Ajith, who continues to balance his dual careers in acting and racing, explained his tight schedule:

“Our racing season in Europe starts in March and ends in October, except for one-off races like Dubai in January. If I can squeeze in a film between November and February, I can manage one film a year and still focus on racing.”

The actor’s clear strategy aims to maintain a steady presence on screen while staying committed to motorsport—not just as a racer but also as a team owner.

While no official announcement has been made regarding the director or production team of AK64, rumors suggest that names like Adhik Ravichandran, Venkat Prabhu, and even Dhanush are in the mix.

Ajith was last seen in the action-packed thriller Good Bad Ugly, released in April 2025. The film, written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, was a commercial hit and is now streaming on Netflix. It featured a strong ensemble cast including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Prasanna, and Priya Prakash Varrier.

As fans eagerly await official announcements and casting confirmations, one thing is clear—Ajith’s commitment to delivering quality cinema while pursuing his racing dreams remains as strong as ever.
