Akshay Kumar and Team Head to Kashmir for ‘Welcome 3’ Shoot

The cast of ‘Welcome To The Jungle,’ the highly anticipated third installment of the hit franchise ‘Welcome,’ will soon head to Kashmir for a month-long shooting schedule. The information comes directly from the PR team managing the film.

‘Welcome 3’ boasts an impressive lineup, including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty, Johnny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev, and singers-brothers Daler Mehndi and Mika. Ahmed Khan has joined as the director for this film.

The ‘Welcome’ series began with a star-studded cast featuring Feroz Khan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, and Paresh Rawal. The sequel, ‘Welcome Back,’ released in 2015, saw John Abraham and Shruti Haasan replacing Akshay and Katrina. Both previous films were directed by Anees Bazmee.

‘Welcome 3’ was officially announced on Akshay Kumar’s birthday last year with a promotional video, where Akshay and the cast performed an acapella routine. Sharing the video, Akshay wrote, “Khud ko aur aap sab ko ek birthday gift diya hai aaj (Have given a birthday gift to myself and you all). If you like it and say thanks, I’d say Welcome(3) #WelcomeToTheJungle. In cinemas, Christmas – 20th December 2024. Welcome 3.” Fans can look forward to ‘Welcome 3’ hitting theaters on December 20, 2024.
