Akshay Kumar Attends Anant-Radhika’s Post-Wedding Function After COVID Recovery

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, graced the post-wedding function of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on Monday evening. Akshay, who missed the wedding ceremony due to a COVID-19 diagnosis, joined the festivities after testing negative, extending warm greetings to the newlyweds.

Several clips from the event surfaced online, showing Akshay and Twinkle dressed in color-coordinated ethnic attire as they entered the venue. Akshay looked hale and hearty, much to the delight of his fans. Social media was abuzz with happiness, with one netizen commenting, “So sweet of him. He came to bless the couple.”

Tonight’s function, hosted for the media, the Ambani family’s household staff, and Reliance employees, followed the grand wedding of Anant, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. The couple exchanged vows on July 12 in a spectacular ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, attended by international celebrities and high-profile guests from various fields.

On July 13, a blessing ceremony for the newlyweds saw the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many respected religious leaders, including Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth Swami Sadananda Saraswati and Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath Swami Avimukteshwaranand, who were warmly welcomed with standing ovations. The Ambanis also organized a wedding reception on July 14, attended by stars like Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu, and Karan Singh Grover.
