Akshay Kumar calls Twinkle Khanna “hulk” in birthday post

Today is Twinkle Khanna, author,’s 50th birthday. Actor and Twinkle’s husband Akshay Kumar took to Instagram and posted a humorous yet endearing message to make her feel special on her special day. In a video that he uploaded, Twinkle can be seen claiming to be the real Hulk while posing in front of a statue of the superhero. “Happy birthday, Hulk! We are grateful that your sense of humour has extended our lives by so many years. May God bless you with many more. Happy Birthday, Tina,” Akshay wrote as the picture’s caption. A stunning image of Twinkle posing against a picturesque backdrop opens the video. The phrase “Who I thought I married” is inscribed on it.

Following this image, a video featuring Twinkle unleashing her playful avatar and striking a pose in front of a statue of the Hulk was shown to us. “Ae hega putla, ae hega asli Hulk (this is a dummy, and I am the real Hulk),” she said in a cute Punjabi voice. The text “Who I actually married” was added by Akshay during the editing process. Comments on Akshay’s post split the internet. Twinkle is the older daughter of veteran actor Dimple Kapadia and late superstar Rajesh Khanna. Her father and she have the same birthday. Rajesh Khanna’s 81st birthday is thus today as well. Twinkle had said, “He always said I was the best present he could have ever received, as I tumbled feet first into the world on his birthday,” in one of her Instagram posts honouring her father.
