Akshay Kumar Skips ‘Singham Again’ Trailer Launch, Sends Sweet Message For Team

At the trailer launch of Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated film Singham Again, Akshay Kumar made a virtual appearance, as he was in London shooting for Housefull 5.

Despite his absence, Akshay shared a heartfelt video message, Speaking in Hindi, He shared, “I want to apologise as I could not attend the Singham 3 trailer launch in person today. But looking at this housefull theatre has given me so much joy. I remember during the pandemic, there was a 50 per cent occupancy, yet people turned up to watch my and Rohit Shetty’s film, Sooryavanshi. You helped it become a blockbuster. Please give that kind of support to Singham Again as well.”

The film, part of Shetty’s Cop Universe, has a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, with Akshay reprising his role as Sooryavanshi. The nearly 5-minute trailer is filled with action-packed sequences, heroic dialogues, and introduces Deepika as the formidable “Lady Singham”.

The movie also draws inspiration from the Ramayana, with Ajay’s character, Bajirao Singham, representing the modern Ram, battling the forces of evil.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s release this Diwali, with expectations running high as it will clash with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
