According to a report, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has pulled off an unprecedented move by submitting two versions of Housefull 5 to the CBFC. Both versions have been watched and approved by the board, with each receiving a U/A certificate.
A source revealed, “Housefull 5 is a one-of-a-kind comic thriller, and to preserve the mystery of this entertainer, the producer submitted two versions to the CBFC. While the reason behind this strategy remains under wraps, it’s said to be part of an innovative plan that will be revealed soon.”
The report further highlights that Housefull 5 will have a run time of 2 hours and 43 minutes, making it the longest entry in the popular comedy franchise. With 24 actors in key roles, the film promises non-stop entertainment, wild confusion, and signature Housefull-style chaos.

“While the franchise’s staple confusion remains intact, the storytelling this time is said to be unlike anything seen before in Indian cinema,” the source added.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 boasts a massive ensemble including Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, and many more.
The much-awaited trailer of the film will drop on May 27, 2025, offering fans their first proper glimpse into what’s expected to be a riotous and grand cinematic experience.
