Akshay Oberoi to star in romantic film ”Tu Chahiye’

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: Actor Akshay Oberoi will be seen headlining a new romantic drama titled ‘Tu Chahiye’.

He has been paired opposite Ashnoor Kaur in the film, as per a statement.

Excited about the new project, Akshay said, “I’m excited to do an all-out romantic love story. It’s refreshing to see a love story being made during a time when such few are being made. It’s also been a while since I’ve made one myself.

I am really enjoying the character written for me. It’s deeply layered, challenging and has a variety of shades with a very unique character arch. He is not your quintessential romantic hero and that’s what makes it challenging, yet exciting.”

The film is slated to commence production soon, with the picturesque city of Raipur serving as the backdrop for its story.

More details regarding the film have not been disclosed yet.

Besides ‘Tu Chahiye’, Akshay also has ‘Fighter’ in his kitty. ‘Fighter’ stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Fighter’ is scheduled to release in theatres on January 25, 2024. It is touted to be an aerial action film.
