The Oscar-winning legend Al Pacino will portray early investor Vincenzo Vaccaro in Bobby Moresco’s biopic chronicling the Maserati family’s automotive legacy, as filming resumes in Rome this June.

The iconic actor Al Pacino has officially joined the cast of Maserati: The Brothers, a cinematic chronicle of the famed Maserati family’s rise to prominence in the world of luxury automobiles. The announcement, made Thursday during the Cannes Film Festival, confirms Pacino’s role as Vincenzo Vaccaro, a visionary businessman and early supporter of the Maserati brothers.

Directed by Oscar-winner Bobby Moresco, the film enters its second and final phase of shooting in Rome this June, with a fall 2025 release targeted by producers.

Joining Pacino are newly announced cast members Gina La Piana and Tatiana Luter. They will star alongside an already glittering lineup including Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, Jessica Alba, Michele Morrone, and Salvatore Esposito.

Producer Andrea Iervolino expressed enthusiasm over the latest addition to the ensemble:

Pacino is represented by CAA and RMG. La Piana is repped by Eris Talent Agency, and Luter by Independent Artist Group.
