May 9, 2025: Bollywood actor Ali Fazal shared an emotional tribute on Friday in remembrance of his late mother, reflecting deeply on loss, memory, and time. Posting a heartfelt note on Instagram, Ali paired his words with a touching childhood photograph of himself sitting on his mother’s lap.
“Miss you today. Miss you hard,” he began, expressing the ache of her absence. “I don’t like posting nowadays. But… there’s a version I activate from time to time. Wish I had made videos with you in them. Selfish of me to want to look at them? Eh…”
Ali’s poetic note delved into the fragility and distortion of memory over time, and the emotional complexity of grief. “Why does a memory and its freshness get tied to the linearity of time? Time maketh old… Or so we have known,” he mused.
