Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Begin Filming Spy Drama 'Alpha' in Kashmir
Actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari have arrived in Kashmir to begin shooting for their upcoming spy drama ‘Alpha.’ The two stars were spotted at the Mumbai airport earlier on Monday before making their way to the scenic valleys of Kashmir for the film’s shoot.
Alia Bhatt was accompanied by her daughter Raha, with the mother-daughter duo being photographed at the airport. Later, Alia’s mother, veteran actress Soni Razdan, was also seen arriving at the airport. For the journey, Alia chose a stylish black baggy pantsuit, while little Raha matched her mom in a black outfit.
Sharvari, who is set to share the screen with Alia in this action-packed project, opted for a casual look at the airport, sporting a chocolate brown tank top paired with beige pants.
‘Alpha’ is directed by Shiv Rawail, the son of veteran filmmaker Rahul Rawail. A few days ago, Sharvari took to her Instagram handle to share her excitement about the project, posting a picture from the set with director Shiv Rawail. She captioned the post, “It doesn’t get bigger than this! Super stoked to start my #Alpha journey today! Trust me… I have manifested this moment super prepped but can feel the butterflies in my tummy… Thank you Adi sir for your faith & @shivrawail for your belief in me! Letssss gooooo!!“
In an earlier teaser shared by Yash Raj Films (YRF) on Instagram, Alia Bhatt’s voice can be heard in a powerful voiceover introducing the title. Alia narrates, “Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar Aur humare program ka motto.. sabse pehle, sabse tezz, sabse veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher mein ek jungle hai. Aur jungle mein hamesha Raj karega.. ALPHA!“
‘Alpha’ is part of YRF’s expanding spy universe, which began with the Tiger franchise starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and continued with films like ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan.’ The spy universe has become a major hit with Indian audiences, and ‘Alpha’ is expected to further elevate this cinematic universe.
