Alia Bhatt Excited Fans With A New Poster For Her Upcoming Film ‘Jigra’

Alia Bhatt is generating excitement for her upcoming film ‘Jigra’, sharing a new poster that highlights her intriguing character. In the striking image, Alia stands atop a damaged car, wielding a weapon and an axe, with a bag slung over her shoulder. Notably, her face is not visible, adding an air of mystery to her role. Vedang Raina, her co-star, appears in the background, further piquing interest.

Alia captioned the poster with the phrase, “Tu mere protection mein hai,” announcing that ‘Jigra’ will hit cinemas on October 11.

In another post, she offered a glimpse of her character’s look, writing, “Kahaani bahut lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bahut bahut kam,” hinting at a complex narrative that revolves around family and urgency.

The release date for the film was recently moved up from September 27 to October 11, with Alia confirming the update on Instagram, saying, “11.10.2024 | JIGRA | See you at the movies.” Following her posts, actress Soni Razdan congratulated her, while fans expressed their eagerness for teasers and acknowledged Alia’s dedication to the project.

Directed by Vasan Bala, known for his work on films like ‘Monica O My Darling’ and ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’, ‘Jigra’ marks the first collaboration between Alia and Vasan. The film is produced under the Dharma Productions banner and is described as a tale of a sister’s unwavering love and commitment to protecting her brother.

Vedang Raina, who debuted last year in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, plays a significant role alongside Alia. The anticipation for ‘Jigra’ continues to build, with audiences eager to see what promises to be a gripping and heartfelt story.
