December 17, 2024: The Raj Kapoor Film Festival, organised to mark the legendary filmmaker’s 100th birth anniversary, brought the Kapoor family together for a grand celebration. While the event was filled with moments of nostalgia and joy, one viral video from the occasion has stirred up online chatter and speculation.

In the clip circulating on social media, Alia Bhatt appears visibly stressed as she helps Ranbir Kapoor manage the family and organize the photo sessions. At one point, as Neetu Kapoor enters the venue, Ranbir sends Alia to greet his mother. However, what caught everyone’s attention was Neetu Kapoor seemingly ignoring Alia as she approached, walking past her without acknowledgment.

The awkward moment didn’t go unnoticed by internet users. Social media platforms lit up with commentary, with some predicting tension between the two. “Family function mein saas ka bahu ko tevar dikhana is permanent,” wrote one user. Despite the online buzz, the Kapoor family continued with the festivities as the Raj Kapoor Film Festival unfolded. Initially planned as a three-day event, the festival has been extended until December 19 due to overwhelming public demand. Organised by The Film Heritage Foundation, the celebration has been a tribute to Raj Kapoor’s remarkable legacy in Indian cinema.
