Actor Alia Bhatt is set to impress audiences once again with her upcoming film ‘Jigraa’, directed by Vasan Bala. The film, which also features Vedang Raina—who made his Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’—is billed as a drama centered on the profound bond between a sister and her brother, showcasing her fierce determination to protect him.
Alia Bhatt announced on Instagram that the teaser trailer for ‘Jigraa’ will be released on September 8. She shared her excitement with the caption, “Dum hai…Satya mein dum hai! #JIGRA TEASER TRAILER OUT ON 8TH SEPTEMBER,” accompanied by the relevant emojis.
Along with the teaser announcement, Alia unveiled a new poster of the film, where she appears fierce and intense, staring directly into the camera.
Originally slated for release on September 27, 2024, ‘Jigraa’ will now hit theaters on October 11, 2024. Alia confirmed this change on Instagram, saying, “11.10.2024 | JIGRA | See you at the movies.”
The film is produced under the Dharma Productions banner, with Alia previously sharing behind-the-scenes photos after wrapping up filming in February 2024.
In addition to ‘Jigraa’, Alia will also star in ‘Love and War’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Bhansali is renowned for his historical epics, making this collaboration highly anticipated.
